Fresh nut milk: As easy as making a smoothie.
I didn’t know much about making your own nut milk, but I used to be under the impression that it was this long, difficult process & it was just easier + cheaper to buy it from the store. PLOT TWIST. Y’all, it’s so simple… + the taste of freshly made nut milk, with a little froth on the top, is to die for.
Turmeric: the magic little powder that packs a health punch.
It is commonly known for its anti-inflammatory benefits, but I personally think it should be known for its exuberant color.
There’s nothing like sitting down with a big bowl of comfort food. Cue: Tuscan Soup.
Tofu can either be really good… or really bad + it all comes down to how its prepared. Well, LET ME TELL YA, this recipe is the bomb diggity. It’s so crispy & flavorful, I literally have to resist eating the entire block of tofu when it comes out of the oven. Now that’s love.
Looooooove is in the air + I’m fallin’ for these homemade almond butter cups!
I’m a total almond butter fan. + when nut butters meet chocolate, how could you go wrong?
These little babes are AMAZE & it might just be my dream come true to make my own! I love just how easy they are to make.
Good ‘ole fashioned, gluten-full pasta is hard to beat. Buuuut… this option might just be a very close second.
Need to sneak a few extra veggies into your day? Eat enough veggies each day? Either way, eating spiralized veggies is just too much fun! + this recipe is a must try if you’re looking for a low-carb//(dare I say…) gluten-free option.
Don’t have a spiralizer? Don’t know where to start? There are many options available to fit any price range. Perhaps, start with the simplest of spiralizers, until you find that your addiction is real!
The options range from a Julienne peeler, to a hand held spiralizer, all the way to a tabletop veggie pasta maker.
I use the Veggetti, available for just $14.99 & it gets the job done with ease! (+ it’s sure to make you laugh every time you say Veggetti out loud.)
I’ve always found cooking tofu to be an impossible task, therefore, I’ve somewhat avoided making my own tofu at all costs.
(If this sounds like you, read on…)
BUT, after much trial & error, I think I’ve found the ultimate solution.
I simply can’t get enough of this stuff… With veggies, served over rice, both?!
Marinating is key. The tofu soaks up so much flavor + packs a small punch. So… For best results, allow up to 30 minutes to marinate your tofu.
There’s nothing like a big bowl of hot soup on a cold day, that’s for sure.
+ this one is PERFECT, for a light, protein-packed, meal.
The holiday season is busy busy busy, but this recipe is SO simple for even your busiest of days.
Simply throw all the ingredients, let it simmer, & enjoy.
It’s sure to warm your heart + fill your belly.
+ even the most picky eater, wouldn’t even be able to tell…
But hey, before you’re quick to judge… just look at those delish chunks of chocolate.
With a busy schedule (as I am sure most of us can relate), the only way for me to truly stay on track with clean eating is meal prep. I am not a huge fan of the traditional chicken + broccoli for lunch & dinner (5x a week) especially because I’m vegetarian, but more because its BORING!
This healthy combo has been one of my go-to recipes recently!
