Steps to Your Best Week Yet

Happy Sunday! Want to make this week a great one? I mean, well… Of course, who wouldn’t!?
Use Sunday to relax, get organized & prep for the best week ahead. These tips will help avoid a frantic Monday morning, forcing you to brush your teeth in traffic as you nearly rear end the car infront of you.

  1. Get organized. Toss everything from your fridge that is questionable or left over from the previous week. Organize your food so that it’s easy to grab when you’re on the run. Clean out your purse, bag or backpack. Toss the unnecessary junk that was building up from the week before. Pack your necessities for the week ahead.
  2. Make your bed, clean up your bedroom floor, empty your trash & throw your clothes in the wash. When your space is organized, you will likely be more productive & it eliminates the need to clean during the week.
  3. Go grocery shopping. Getting my shopping done on Sunday is a must for me. I plan tentative meals for the week ahead & it eliminates the need to make multiple trips throughout the week. Plan breakfast so that you aren’t scrambling in the mornings.
  4. Prep your fruits, veggies & snacks. I find that washing my fruits & veggies, organizing them into different containers for each day helps greatly when I’m pressed for time.
  5. Use your crockpot. The crockpot works wonders while you’re busy. Throw all of the ingredients in & dinner will cook while you accomplish other items on your to do list. Even better, use the leftovers for lunch during the week!
  6. Make a list of everything that you need to accomplish this upcoming week. Organize your planner & set intentions of what you wish to get done.
  7. Pack your gym bag or set out your work clothes for the morning. Anything that can save time in the morning eliminates the possibility of rushing out the door. Starting your week off on the right foot can turn your entire week around.
  8. Lastly, RELAX. Pamper yourself. Give yourself a facial, paint your nails, relax before the hectic week ahead pulls you down!
