I’m slightly obsessed with fresh ginger & its many benefits for the digestive system. Grated over hot tea, cold juice salads, soups or a stir fry… Fresh ginger adds a hint of spice that I love. But these Boylan Heritage Ginger beverages caught my eye so I had to give them a shot & they make my tastebuds so happy! All natural flavors + sweeteners, you can drink it on its own or pair with your favorite spirit.
Drink with caution… They are spicy!
Unfortunately I can’t drink my coffee black so I usually add a splash of cream. Sometimes I want to spice it up just a little bit without adding the hydrogenated oils + artificial sweeteners & flavors that are in the artificial creamers. Instead I created my own substitute without any of those yucky ingredients by gently heating cream until warm, adding a dash of cinnamon + splash of vanilla extract. Sugar or a sugar substitute could be added until dissolved, if desired. Whisk & froth the cream over the heat and enjoy!
This seriously has to be one of the easiest & quickest stir-fry dishes that you can make. In my opinion, sometimes “zoodles” (zucchini noodles) become a little bit mushy, once cooked, but… PROBLEM SOLVED. By adding carrots, you can maintain the crunch! Using a Veggetti or vegetable spiralizer, I spiralize squash, zucchini + carrots & fry for 1 minute with a splash of oil. Throw in some soy sauce, or a stir-fry sauce of your linking, + let it cook for another minute then enjoy! Additional veggies or protein could be added!
As if pesto could become any more delicious… this kale + basil pesto has my heart!
When all of your avocados ripen at the same time, you use them in everything! Who knew they could be used as a delicious pasta sauce?
