Guiltless Banana Ice Cream

I have the biggest sweet tooth sometimes, especially for anything chocolate. But I have found a yummy alternative to everyone’s favorite, ice cream! Frozen bananas provide an extremely easy, cheap and healthy alternative to any of your favorite flavors of ice cream.
You can add any flavors or toppings to satisfy your sweet tooth!
 Guiltless Banana Ice Cream
Serves: 1

-1  frozen bananas, cut into coin size pieces

-1 ½  tablespoons of milk

-Any additional toppings of your choice: cinnamon, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, walnuts, almonds, peanut butter, fresh fruit, etc.

Also, extracts such as vanilla, almond or peppermint can be added for additional flavor!

Protein powder can be added but may change the texture and flavor slightly.

Other variations: You can use any other milk alternatives (almond, oat, hemp, etc).

Blend the frozen bananas and milk until smooth. It will take a few minutes to become completely smooth so be patient and do not add additional milk, as the texture will become more like a smoothie!

Periodic pauses and adjustments may be necessary. Once blended completely, add any optional toppings and pulse the mixture.

Place in the freezer for at least 10 minutes, although it can be stored for an extended period of time. If stored in the freezer for over an hour, it may need to defrost for a couple of minutes before enjoying!

P.S. If you are not fond of the banana flavor,  the more peanut butter or extract (vanilla, peppermint, almond… etc) that you add, the less banana-y it will taste!
The Reece’s recipe below is great for those that do not like the banana flavor!
-1 frozen banana
-1 ½ tablespoons of milk
-1 tablespoon of peanut butter
-2 tablespoons of chocolate chips
-1 frozen banana
